We are living in uncertain times; this can feel scary for potential buyers and sellers. As a result of this pandemic, we have all spent a great amount of time quarantined with our loved ones (or alone) in the spaces that we call home. This is a time for reflection on what home means to us all and a new appreciation for the spaces that we choose to call home which provides us with a sense of security, happiness, and stability. For me, home is where my daughter Jolie is, and I want to live in a space that speaks to who we are as a family, light, fun, spacious, and energetic.
COVID-19 will have an impact on the condo real estate market, what that impact will be I can’t say for sure. What I can say is that my agents have had to adapt to ensure that they have a strong online presence and are available 24/7 for virtual meetings. I also see virtual tours becoming more and more popular. As a result of this, sellers will have to learn how to stage their own homes and highlight their best features.
As a real estate agent, I am accustomed to meeting with my clients and touring the property, it is during these one-on-one meetings that we make our connections. As new changes and challenges arise from this pandemic, Condo Viking will continue to adapt and adjust to meet them head-on. I want to explore how we can adapt and help our buyers and sellers when we are not able to meet face-to-face.
